BMW F22/F30/F80 BUSHINGS & DRIVELINE MOUNTS

Whiteline Rear Subframe Bushings, BMW 1 Series E8X F2X 3 Series E9X F3X

Vorshlag is an Authorized dealer for Whiteline products and we offering their parts for the BMW E80, E90 and F-Series chassis.

The Whiteline kit replaces the bushings in the rear subframe to dramatically reduce rear cross member misalignment and movement which allows a more positive feel from the rear end during cornering. Recommended for motorsport applications. Their elastomer bushings are firmer than the OEM rubber units, preventing slop in the mounts.

This kit includes four Whiteline bushings that replace the OEM subframe mount bushings.

Includes:

  • Two 80mm two-piece polyurethane bushings and sleeves
  • Two 74.8mm two-piece polyurethane bushings and sleeves
  • Fits 2003-13 E80 and E90 except M3, 2011-12 E82 1M, 2011-20 F20, F30 and F80 except M3/M4

INSTRUCTIONS

There is no good way to remove the OEM bushings while the subframe is mounted in the car. That entire assembly has to be dropped out of the chassis. This is not a "small job" and if you are going to the trouble to install these differential mount bushings it would be smart to also install the Whiteline KDT919 differential bushing kit also.

With the subframe removed from the chassis, then you can use a portable press like this (see below) to push out the stock bushings. This is not a super common tool, and you might need custom tubing sleeves to support and push the bushings and outer steel shells out. They will fight you every inch.

You need to remove all 4 factory bushings before you can install the new Whiteline bits.

With the OEM bushings removed, the new Whiteline bushings go in with a little effort. A C-clamp can push these in place. Once these are in, grease the inner bore of the bushing and slide the machined metal sleeves in place.

If you are taking this to a shop to install, better budget at least 9 hours of shop time to remove the subframe, swap out the bushings, and reinstall them back in place. Adding the 3 differential mount bushings at the same time only adds about 2.5 hours overall, versus doing that as a separate task later (about 7 hours on its own).
