Order Processing Times & Deadline
Vorshlag, LLC strives diligently to ship all orders out on the same day they were received. Most online or phone-in orders received before 3 pm CST ship out that same business day, unless there is a backorder on a part or a similar delay. We notify customers that have ordered parts that are on backorder within 24 business hours, asking them if they would like to wait (with an ETA) or if they want to cancel the order. If you absolutely need something overnighted and shipped out the same day PLEASE call us first to verify stock before you order.
Also, please remember - we are not Amazon with a massive warehouse full of every part you see on our website. We also don't have a $100K eCommerce system with real time inventory notifications. If its a part made by somebody else, we don't stock it. If its brake pads? They are going to ship from G-LOC. Even some Vorshlag parts can run out - even though we machine and fabricate our parts in-house, sometimes we are at the mercy of a supplier or plating / coating vendor. Please call to verify if you have an urgent need!
Please see our posted business days and hours at the top of the website (we are open weekdays 8 am to 5 pm CST). If we are closed on a normal business day for some reason it will be noted on our calling tree. All online orders bill your credit card immediately upon order placement; if you would like to be billed when the order ships out, please CALL IN the order. We don't mind.
Shipping - PLEASE READ, THIS IS IMPORTANT!
Shipping charges for our products are determined by the individual weight of the product + the size of the smallest box we can wrap it safely in + insurance for the value of the product, and calculated using UPS and USPS automated shipping modules in our e-commerce system. We use our discounted rates from each carrier, a "no profit shipping". If some carrier option is cheaper than another it is BECAUSE IT IS SLOWER.
US Postal Service is usually the cheapest option because IT IS THE SLOWEST option, no matter what the "estimate" says. Never choose this option if you are in a hurry! Their tracking is TERRIBLE and we don't even get a daily pickup from USPS. To speed things along when you choose USPS (remember - the cheapest option) we actually ship UPS SurePost, which is where UPS picks up the package and carries it most of the distance, then delivers it to your closest Post Office, then the USPS carries it "the last mile" to your door. We do this to save time but it costs US MORE MONEY, not you. The tracking is still questionable, so don't call us complaining if your package is late when you chose USPS - the cheapest option - because it is the SLOWEST and WORST shipping option. Only pick this if you are NOT in any sort of hurry to get your parts!
DEFAULT METHOD = UPS Ground
We ship a lot of packages via UPS every month and pass along our heavily our discounted rates, which are much better than you will get on your own as a walk-up customer at a UPS store or the like. And cheaper than your work account, unless you happen to own Amazon.com. This is our default, preferable shipping method for Vorshlag - UPS Ground, always. The tracking is great, the speeds consistent, and the we get daily UPS pickups at our shop, on time. USPS Priority Mail is the second most popular shipping method, but again - the slowest and worst option (usually much cheaper for anything less than 3 pounds). We also offer UPS 3 day, 2 day and overnight, as well as some USPS Express and USPS and UPS International rates.
Some items cannot be shipped via USPS (shocks) and other items cannot be shipped via UPS (certain international shipments). If you order online all available shipping options will be shown for each item. UPS will not ship to PO, APO, or FPO Boxes, but USPS will ship to APO at very attractive rates for our military customers abroad (and we thank you for your service, by the way). We do not use FedEx because they CANNOT send a daily truck pickup because they use FIVE DIFFERENT TRUCKS for their wacky different types of service.
Faster service is available at additional cost - please see the online shipping options for a rapid quote via multiple choices. If there is no preference made on phoned-in orders, and if we forget to ask and cannot reach you, Vorshlag, LLC will select UPS Ground (our default method) for the order. Damage resulting from shipping will be remedied only if it is reported to the delivery driver immediately. Vorshlag, LLC will not be responsible for any extra shipping charges that may arise from re-shipping where the recipient (Buyer) was not present to accept the goods, or lift-gate charges on undeliverable addresses.
When something is delayed and it has already shipped, remember - we do not own UPS (or USPS) - please don't vent your frustrations with those things that we cannot control. Weather, power outages, fuel shortages - just some of the things they blame for delays.
Vorshlag accepts and ships international orders to most countries. Please see our exclusion list below before ordering. We have a lot of requests for shipping quotes from customers, but to get multiple accurate shipping quotes please first create an account using our online shopping cart system. Then do a mock order, where several shipping options and costs will be generated automatically, before any payment information is ever asked for. Mock orders give you a shipping quote for that day, but they can and do change daily - but not by much.
International customers will always be responsible for their applicable in-country taxes, customs and import duties. Please do not ask us to issue falsified "gift receipts" to help you get out of paying VAT or similar import taxes in your country. We will not break international laws to help avoid your country's import taxes, so please do not ask.

The best way to order parts for shipment to these countries above is to use a Freight Forwarding company based out of the USA. We ship to freight forwarders all the time, and they can save you time, hassles, paperwork and money on international shipments. We will still have to verify payments (potentially delaying shipments) from credit cards issued to anyone living in the countries list above, of course.
A small handling fee will be added to all shipped purchases. This pays for basic packaging materials (boxes, tape, etc). The handling fees we add are very low by industry standards - usually $1 US, and up to $2 US on some large orders. That's pretty cheap. If you pick up items from our location (please don't ask unless its an emergency) or in person at a race event and request it with no box, then this line item will not be charged. Otherwise, the handling charge is bundled with the shipping charge and are added to each individual order. The day we start getting free boxes, free wrapping materials, and free labor is the day we will stop charging this $1 handling charge.
If any large or very heavy items require an additional shipping charge or freight truck shipping arrangements, it will be listed in the product listing on the online catalog (IE: Hoods, Fenders, Bumpers, Engines, LS1 swap kits, etc.) and/or noted on the order before you are charged.
Shipping Damage or Lost Merchandise
Merchandise damaged or lost in transit is the sole responsibility of the carrier. Vorshlag, LLC inspects all merchandise prior to shipment and packages it securely at our facility, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to inspect your package completely while the delivery driver is present and have him/her note any damages. If damages are found after delivery, call the carrier immediately for an inspection. If your order arrives damaged, please immediately inform the delivery carrier if possible, and give us a call or send us an email. Claims for damage should be made within 3 days of delivery.
DO NOT return any damaged parts to Vorshlag, LLC without an RMA # issued by us. If you do, the carrier may not honor your claim and the loss will become the responsibility of the customer. Please keep all boxes, packing materials, warranty cards, etc. associated with your damaged shipment. If your order was shipped truck freight, it is vital that you note damage on the bill of lading when signing the delivery receipt. If there is any other question about your order, contact us immediately via the e-mail addresses or phone numbers on our Contact page. We go to extreme lengths at Vorshlag to package our products with the same care and enthusiasm as we do in designing, testing, and building these same products. We want them to arrive to you as perfect as possible. And we are here to help if something shows up not perfect. Not to brag, but the customer service reputation of Vorshlag is unequaled in this industry.
If a shipment is refused by the customer without prior written consent from Vorshlag, LLC, we will have to refer to the return policy above and treat this as an unauthorized returns. So far this has never happened, so let's try to keep it that way.
Adult signature required for deliveries
Unless receiving prior written consent from Vorshlag, LLC, all shipments to the customer from Vorshlag, LLC will be sent without requiring an Adult Signature for delivery. We used to have this policy the other way around, but so many people are not home during business hours that it resulted in many shipments attempts being missed or late, and far too many customers got upset. So unless you note this in your order comments that you DO want signature required, it will default to not requiring this. If any shipment is made without an adult signature required, Vorshlag Motorsports will not be responsible in any way for loss of the shipment after delivery. So if you live in a bad neighborhood and people steal your packages off your porch, ask for signature required shipping service, or ship it to your place of work. Signature Required costs a little more, and adds time and hassle, but it might be worth your peace of mind.
Vorshlag, LLC requires all payments in U.S. Dollars. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards as payment for online orders. In addition, Visa and MasterCard check cards are accepted forms of payment. Check cards will be processed as credit cards, NOT as debit / ATM cards. Certified Bank checks, Cashier's checks or money orders can also be accepted on a case by case basis. Personal checks can be accepted, but order shipment will be delayed until the check clears (up to 12 business days). We accept these previously listed payment forms plus cash, money orders and in state (Texas) pre-printed personal checks for payments at our shop. PayPal is not accepted, due to their high transaction fee rates.
We do not take BitCoin or other crypto directly at this time, due to massive fluctuations in currency rates, but we might revisit this in the future. There is never any "cash discount", so don't try to pay in cash and expect to NOT pay any sales tax. We never do that. If you walk up to our physical address to buy anything, or are a Texas resident, an 8.25% sales tax will be applied to all sales.
Parts manufactured by Vorshlag, LLC are intended for off-road or competition use only, and are sold "as is" without any warranty whatsoever. Vorshlag, LLC makes no warranty, express or implied, of any kind regarding its products. Any and all implied warranties of merchantability, or fitness for any purpose, etc., are also expressly excluded. The entire risk as to quality, fitness for application, and performance is with the buyer and the buyer expressly assumes such risk. Should such accessories prove defective, the buyer assumes the entire cost of all necessary service and repair.
COMPETITION COMPONENTS ARE OFTEN USED IN WAYS UNANTICIPATED AND UNANTICIPATABLE BY THEIR MAKERS, AND CONSTANTLY PUSHED BEYOND THEIR LIMITS AND OFTEN MISUSED. Vorshlag, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE (DIRECT OR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, FORSEEABLE, OR OTHERWISE) ARISING FROM THE USE OF ITS PRODUCTS, FROM INABILITY TO DETERMINE THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, OR OTHERWISE. BEFORE USING, THE USER SHALL DETERMINE THE SUITABILITY OF THE PRODUCT FOR ITS INTENDED USE, AND THE USER SHALL DETERMINE AND ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS THAT MAY ARISE IN CONNECTION WITH ITS USE.
USER FURTHER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND HOLD HARMLESS Vorshlag, LLC, ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES, CLAIMS, FINES, PENALTIES, DEMANDS, CAUSES OF ACTION, LOSSES, DAMAGES, EXPENSES AND REASONABLE ATTORNEYS' FEES, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, VESTED OR CONTINGENT, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT IT IS CAUSED IN PART BY A PARTY INDEMNIFIED HEREUNDER AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT IT IS CAUSED IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF A PARTY INDEMNIFIED HEREUNDER, THAT ARISE OUT OF OR RESULT FROM USER'S APPLICATION OR USE OF Vorshlag, LLC COMPONENTS.
Aftermarket parts are intended to modify or prepare a vehicle for uses which may vary from conditions anticipated by the vehicle manufacturer. Vehicles modified with some Vorshlag, LLC manufactured accessories may no longer be legally used on public roads. Check your federal, state and local laws before installing Vorshlag, LLC manufactured accessories on vehicles intended for use on public roads.
Federal and state laws may prohibit removing, modifying, or rendering inoperable any device or element of design of the pollution control device or system on any motor vehicle used on public highways.
Vorshlag, LLC makes no representations or warranties regarding compliance of a vehicle using its parts with any law, regulation of any jurisdiction.
Return and Refund Policy
THIS IS IMPORTANT: Please read and understand this policy before purchasing anything from Vorshlag's online store or in person at our shop.
There is a 30 day return policy on any unused Vorshlag built or branded part. If you change your mind within 30 days of the order or invoice date, you can return (with an approved RMA) any new and uninstalled products that are made by Vorshlag. These parts have to be in Like New Condition and resellable to receive a refund. You must first request an approved RMA #, and once issued then and only then can you ship the parts back to Vorshlag. Within the RMA authorization email we will detail where and how to ship the parts back to us. The issued RMA # must be clearly written on the package. Once packages are received here the parts will be inspected; any damage will be noted and discussed with you. You are responsible for return shipping charges.
After 30 days there are NO REFUNDS. There are also no returns or refunds on any non-Vorshlag branded products, and here is why: Vorshlag sells many brands of parts, and we (like virtually all automotive shops) cannot stock "everything you could ever want", so we often drop-ship many items direct to customers from our manufacturer. Returns on these items are complicated and costly, which is why we do NOT offer returns or refunds on non-Vorshlag branded parts. Please call if you have any questions about this policy prior to ordering anything online. If there is a manufacturing defect on any product we will of course make it right, but this needs to be discussed with Vorshlag within 30 days and before the part is installed or utilized.
Returned products WILL NOT be accepted without prior authorization. Any unauthorized charge backs for items purchased via credit card will be viewed as theft and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. All authorized returns must include a copy of the original invoice, have an RMA number written on the outside of the package, and return shipping must be prepaid. Returns made with shipping C.O.D. will be refused. All items returned must be in perfect "new" condition in the original packaging. Use all of the wrapping materials we used to get the part to you - or more. Vorshlag, LLC cannot accept any returns on electrical and or fuel injection components, special order or close out items, or any items that have already been installed on a vehicle, for refund or exchange.
People who buy Vorshlag products second hand are not our direct customers. We will still support you, but you cannot return those to us for refund, obviously. We have had people buy a Vorshlag part from someone who originally bought it from us years earlier, then come to Vorshlag and try to get a refund. That's not how this works - we have a 30 day refund policy to our direct customers. We will be glad to service and give tech advice on any Vorshlag part, of course.
