Brembo E46 M3 Racing Brake Upgrade
This is a Brembo Racing, GT Series, Slotted Type 3 355mm x 32mm 2-Piece Rotor, 4-Piston Silver Caliper
This Brembo kit is made to replace the front brake components on the 2001-2006 BMW E46 M3 - rotors, calipers, lines, and brackets.
There are many advantages of the GT Series brake kit over the OEM style brake upgrades. We often see that with Motorsports grade components your cost per lap will go down. True racing calipers look after the pads and rotors better than the OEM calipers with track pads. This means you will see drastically improved brake performance, with less wear, for a longer period of time.
The Brembo calipers are built with strength in mind and do not suffer the same fate as many 1-piece OEM calipers. The 2-piece bolted design benefit from the steel bolts as temperatures exceed 400°F, where aluminum gets a bit elastic but steel retains all of its strength. This accounts for considerably less caliper flex at higher temperatures on track, and a better pedal feel!
This kit Includes:
- Radial mount Brembo GT Series 4-piston calipers, painted silver
- Brembo billet aluminum caliper mounting brackets
- Brembo 2-piece 355x32mm slotted rotors with aluminum hats (assembled), fully coated. Replacement rotors available (906570/906571)
- Goodridge stainless braided Teflon lined brake flex lines + copper washers included for this application
- Pad mounting pins and retainers. Pad change can happen from the top!
- Uses FMSI D968 pad profile (Ferrari F40/F50/GT1/Viper). For BMW E46 with pad wear sensors, use D810 pad profile
- Brembo Ferodo FM1000 brake pads included!
- Brake pads are available from G-LOC and a number of other companies. Please call Vorshlag for help with brake pad selection for your application!
- Fits the Vorshlag Cooling Deflectors without modification
- Other caliper colors and rotor options are available. Call for details, but this silver/slotted version is the one we can get quickly, as it is kept in stock at our warehouse.
Works with Vorshlag BMW E46 brake cooling deflectors, as shown below. The ball joint heat shields might need to be slightly bent for this 355mm rotor.
