Vorshlag F56 MINI (2014-up) Camber Plates & Coilover Perches

Like every modern MINI ever made, the F56 chassis have McPherson strut front suspensions, and these models have zero camber adjustment from the factory. Unfortunately, these MINIs don't have enough negative front camber to allow them to be driven on a road course or in an autocross event without shredding the outside shoulders of the front tires. The need to add negative camber was something we noticed when these cars were first introduced but there didn't seem to be a way to do it with our traditional Vorshlag spherical top mount designs.

This catalog entry is for Vorshlag camber plates designed to fit the F56 MINI family. This camber plate can only be used with Coilover springs and can be used with virtually any strut type. Please choose the appropriate spring and strut from the option drop-downs below.

In order to properly use Vorshlag camber plates, you must choose the option below to include Vorshlag upper spring perches that match your strut brand and spring type. Vorshlag camber plates are designed to be compatible with 2.5”, 2.25" and 60mm “coilover” style springs and all strut types. We make numerous variations of this plate and accompanying perches to work with your set-up. The Vorshlag upper perches allow us to add a sealed radial bearing that isolates the spherical bearing in the camber plate from radial turning loads of of the strut shaft during steering inputs. This is part of why our plates last the lifetime of the car!

With this design you can easily adjust camber track side and the total adjustment is up to 3.5° of added negative camber over stock. Our over-sized spherical bearings are designed to withstand the rigors of street and track abuse. All of our components are plated for maximum corrosion resistance and long life. Vorshlag camber plate components are CNC machined in-house, and this F56 design uses a larger piece of aluminum than many previous designs we have built to date, and metal prices are up 100% in the past few years. This product entry includes smaller coilover style upper spring perches we also CNC machine, which matches spring diameters of popular coilover springs.

This design can add up to 3.5° of additional negative camber, which keeps the outside front tires flatter when cornering, reducing tire wear and increasing cornering grip. Adding negative camber is one of the FIRST modifications racers do to their cars, and the F56 MINI needs it just like so many others.

Spring Perches: Please pick the spring perch diameter that works with the springs you have. Coilover springs typically come in one of three inner diameters: 2.25", 60mm and 2.5".  This style spring is easily identified - turn the steering wheel to full lock then peek inside the front wheel opening - if the spring is small at the bottom and tapers to a larger size at the top it needs the OEM upper spring perch. 

Strut Style: Please pick your strut brand and model from the drop down below. This helps us build the camber plates to fit your struts with a tight tolerance and no slop - for quiet, reliable use. If you do not know what struts you have please have a reputable shop inspect them, as most mechanics can spot the differences with a quick look. There are also new struts and updates to existing models that come out from time to time. If the brand of your strut isn't shown in the options, feel free to call us. Anytime a new chassis hits the track, the aftermarket has to play catch up.  With new suspensions being released we need your help to ensure that new camber plates are being configured correctly.  For us that means we need to know the dimensions of the struts your using to build up a database, as we've done in the past with all the other camber plates we offer.  Please look at the photo below, this is an example of exactly what dimensions we are looking for.  If you are still not sure please contact us!
