Vorshlag has been making upper shock mounts for many years, for a variety of chassis: Corvette, many BMW applications, NA/NB Miata, 86, S550, and more. These rear mounts are specifically for the the 2010-15 5th Generation Camaro chassis. We make these in house here at Vorshlag specifically for MCS shock offerings for this car that feature an "eye" upper mount. If that is not what you have, you are probably looking at the wrong solution.
These clevis mounts remove a giant chunk of rubber from the OEM shock mounts, and instead rely on a stronger, deflection free spherical rod end on the shock. This gives you improved suspension articulation and instant damper reactions.
Compared to the OEM rubber shock mounts (above left), our brand new design is all steel and set-up with a 1.00" wide clevis width and an M10 through-bolts, which we include with the assembly, along with washers and nylock nuts. These might fit another brand of damper made for the 5th gen chassis, but we cannot guarantee that.
In reality we hope these shock mounts are only purchased with an MCS coilover kit for a 5th gen Camaro, for which these were designed. As you can see, we have optimized the design to give access to both the rebound and compression knob for a 5th gen with MCS TT2 dampers (as shown above), but they will work fine with TT1, RR2, and RR3 models as well.
