This entry is for folks who have already purchased the Ohlins kit for their 718 Club Spec entry. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe old x73 suspension + Vorshlag camber plate for that (sold elsewhere) is more costly and will be legal for the 718 Club Spec class for the 2027 season, but beyond that is yet to be determined. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen the folks at Safeplace Automotive (now S.Collective) let us test out a new camber plate design on their 718, we took them up on their offer - and they brought their 2018 Cayman into Vorshlag. We immediately did a spot check of the alignment settings, then took the front suspension apart, and developed our camber plate solution. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cimg src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1071\/5450\/files\/785200730_1035954665868926_8142224649023987506_n.jpg?v=1788212316\" alt=\"\"\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd not too surprisingly, we found a lot more camber that was being left on the table by the other solutions out there - mostly due to shortcuts to make a cheaper camber plate design. Where the other guys are lucky to get your Porsche -3.0 degrees of camber on the OEM suspension with their top mounts, the Vorshlag design allows for up to -4.0 degrees of front camber with stock springs, stock struts and unaltered ride height. The large sealed radial bearing allows the spring perch to rotate instead of relying on the spherical to spin within the bearing holder (which would wear it out quickly - like most competing designs).
