American Racing Headers' 2015-19 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L Full Length Headers with X-Pipe
The S550 generation of Mustangs brought performance and handling to a whole new level, but power and torque is still waiting to be unleashed on the 5.0L Coyote engines, held back by the anemic factory exhaust. With header primary designs in 1-3/4", 1-7/8" or 2" (for max effort race applications) and a 3" exhaust, ARH's Long System unlocks that power with performance gains up to 30 RWHP. A simple mark and cut (no welding required) mates the ARH Long System to your existing Axelback. Comes with a 3" X-Pipe standard.
Vorshlag uses this on our shop 2018 GT, where - with a CAI and a mild tune - we picked up 43 whp average! Dyno shown below. THERE IS NO OTHER SINGLE UPGRADE TO THE COYOTE 5.0L THAT ADDS MORE USABLE POWER THAN THIS!
Look at the OEM manifold next to the 1-7/8" ARH long tube above. You can see where the additional exhaust airflow comes from - fewer bends, longer runners, and a larger diameter. This has been proven time and again as the best way to add power to any V8, These headers are 100% U.S. made using the finest 304 S/S, the system fits great, and produces HP gains normally seen in much larger V8s.
Additional features include: 3/8” thick flanges, merge collectors with scavenger spikes, a direct fit X-pipe, your choice of no cats or 200 cell metallic substrate cats, and your choice of 1-3/4” or 1-7/8” primaries.
Vorshlag runs the 1-7/8" primary ARH headers with the catalyst equipped X-pipe on our 2018 Mustang GT 5.0 (click here for Project Build Thread) and we highly recommend this primary sized header to our customers. We have not experienced any loss of low end power with this "larger primary" tube size and our own dyno graph showed gains throughout the power band. Custom dyno tuning helps you gain even more power with these motors, especially if you have an aftermarket intake as well.

Primary Diameter: Please pick the header primary diameter that you want. These headers are available with 1 3/4" and 1 7/8" primaries. The 2.0" primaries are for radical builds only. PLEASE pick the 1-7/8" version, or CALL US to explain why you want to pick the 1-3/4". We won't offer the 2.0" for sale online - you MUST call to order that version.
3" X-Pipe with Catalytic Converters: Please pick whether you want your 3" diameter X-Pipe to have 200 cell metallic substrate catalytic converters or to have no catalytic converters at all.
