Aluminum Bellhousing for Tremec T56 / T56 Magnum / Magnum XL to GM LS V8

If you are building a V8 swap around a Vorshlag kit for a BMW E36, E46 or Z3 -or- the Scion FR-S/BRZ/86 chassis you will need this bellhousing!

The Vorshlag LS V8 swap kits for the BMW E36 (see above), BMW Z3, or BMW E46 chassis are all built around a stock Borg-Warner/Tremec T56 from a 1998-2002 Camaro -or- an aftermarket Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual. These two transmissions are very different in many ways (shifter location, output shaft spline count, overall length, torque rating, etc) but they do share the same bellhousing when you are mating up to any GM GEN III or GEN IV LS series engine (LS1, LS2, LS3, etc).

The Vorshlag LS V8 swap for the 86 chassis (see above) is built around an even longer T56 Magnum XL 6-speed manual, which is again very different from the two transmissions above (length, shifter location) but it also uses the same bellhousing - this one listed.

To use this bellhousing in any of our V8 swap kits you also need this starter, which we also can provide.
